If you have not had a family meeting about how you will manage this disease in years to come, I suggest you start preparing now. Alzheimer’s can last as long as twenty years, although the average is about eight years.

Time moves quickly so the best thing you can do is be proactive and learn more about the steps you can take to lessen the burden on all parties involved.
